We teach you all fundamentals for processing silicone – from workshop requirements to the manufacturing of simple medical devices.
• materials science: usage and properties of silicone
• optimal configuration of a silicone workplace
• mould preparation and processing
• producing a cast component from RTV-silicone
• manufacturing a HTV-orthosis for immobilizing thumb and wrist
All manufactured devices may be taken home after the seminar.

Weighting: 10% Theoretical part / 90% Practical part
